Statement of Clarification: Unauthorized Use of Name ¡¥^¬ÓÂ@´º°s©±¡¦ by Small
6 February, 2014
It has recently came to our knowledge that the Chinese name of The Emperor (Happy Valley) Hotel (the ¡¥Hotel¡¦) ¡¥^¬ÓÂ@´º°s©±¡¦ has been used without authorization by a small guesthouse, of which the English name ¡¥China Emperor Hotel¡¦ also resembles ours ¡¥The Emperor (Happy Valley) Hotel¡¦.
The Hotel hereby declares:
The one and only The Emperor (Happy Valley) Hotel ^¬ÓÂ@´º°s©± in Hong Kong is located at No. 1 Wang Tak Street, Happy Valley, Causeway Bay; which does not relate to ¡¥China Emperor Hotel¡¦ who names itself ¡¥^¬ÓÂ@´º°s©±¡¦ in any way.
The Hotel is highly concerned of the issue that our established goodwill has been manipulated to deceive the public for unlawful gain. Further actions will be taken to prevent the Hotel from rights infringement and brand counterfeiting. The Hotel urges all related parties to take caution, especially the ones who make room reservations via online booking websites.
